The population of Alberta is 4,756,408 as of 1 October 2023 and continues to grow at a rapid pace. As reported by the provincial government, population growth numbers are now breaking records and surpassing decades of growth. More than 194,000 new residents have already moved to Alberta in the past year: an increase of 4.3%.
