On November 1, 2023, Terry Jenson (MP) announced changes to the immigration process in Saskatchewan. As of today,newly arrived Ukrainians in Saskatchewan have a chance to immigrate under the SINP program, who arrived underCUAET visas and have a valid Work Permit.
The Government of Saskatchewan has added 279 professions under which you are eligible to apply for immigration. Every Ukrainian, regardless of occupation, accountant, butcher or greenhouse worker, is a priority for the Saskatchewan Government.
The requirements are met by anyone who has worked in Saskatchewan for minimum 6 months and has a confirmed level of English at CLB 4.
In the coming years, 112,000 new jobs will be created in Saskatchewan, and everyone will be able to find their place in the province’s rapidly developing economy.
